Every Cell in My Body

When I close my eyes

I slow down and feel my heart

I sense those moments that take me into the space of sweetness

Into the breath of the breath

I sense those long pauses between the breath

I take it all in

I take it with acceptance of every precious moment

With every precious feeling

As I miss the breath of the ocean

I remember the taste of its salty waters

As I miss the spaciousness of the ocean

I remember the breeze that took me there

I fall into that feeling

As I melt into the present moment

Between each breath

Between each thought

Between each move

Tasting this space with every cell

Every cell that is alive

Alive within my body
